  • Greg Miller - the photo at the head of this page is a Greg Miller

  • Vincent Van Gogh - this links to my favorite painting. Not because it’s the best but because when staying at the Yellow House he so admired Paul Gaughin, he painted this painting to hang in Paul’s room as inspiration.
  • Joseph Kalionzes - The first original piece of art I’ve purchased. This man is a true artist. He paints authentically and beautifully. You can see his work at Chronic Cellars in Paso Robles, CA

  • El Mercado (Fairfax District, Los Angeles. Fairfax and 3rd)
  • The Studio (Montage Hotel, Laguna Beach)
  • Mercat (Chicago - just for the Bolero margarita and prosciutto wrapped fig)
  • La Conversation - nostalgic for me, but incredible and tasty fare

  • a Chicago dog
  • Irish Cheddar cheese (only to be eaten IN Ireland)
  • fondue (to be eaten in one of two places: Switzerland or France)
  • Indian food (the spicier, the better)
  • sushi (the good kind. like the kind I had in Tokyo —- Japan)
